By Andrew S. KnapmanEditorial staffAt the end of last year, Facebook started rolling out a massive redesign of its search interface.
The changes included more efficient searching and a new “Search Now” feature that allows users to quickly create an account and start searching for news, photos, videos, maps and more.
It also introduced a new feature called “Quick Search,” which lets users search for information using their search history, including their past searches and previous posts.
Facebook’s search interface is a huge hit with users and is a big reason why the social network has more than 700 million monthly active users.
But the new redesign has taken a lot of users by surprise.
The social network launched the feature in December and it has taken longer than expected to make its way into all users’ accounts, according to a survey conducted by search giant Comscore.
This delay has hurt the search quality and user experience for people, who are left to navigate through a confusing mess of multiple search results.
“We’re still getting feedback on the search interface,” Facebook spokeswoman Megan D. Mathers told Business Insider.
“We want to make sure that people are using it as quickly as possible, and the feedback is that it’s slow.”
Mathers said that the company is working on a more streamlined interface that will bring down the search engine’s load while making it easier for users to find what they’re looking for.
She said that users are still not sure how the new search engine will work, but that it will be better than before.
While the redesigned interface has been rolling out to users in the past few months, the changes have been met with criticism and confusion among users.
Facebook’s main search engine has been plagued by problems since it launched in 2015, including a slew of user complaints that the results were not accurate.
The new search interface has taken some time to reach all users of the social media network, but it has been making progress and is finally in all users accounts, Mather of Facebook told Business Insiders.
Users who are still having problems using the new interface can still use their account to search for content on the site, and some are even making changes to their account settings to make the experience even better.
Some users are not satisfied with the search experience and have started complaining to Facebook, saying that the new results don’t accurately reflect the content they’re searching for.
Some of these complaints include people who were unable to find a news article that they wanted to share on Facebook, because they did not have a “Recent News” or “Recently Read” filter in their search.
Another popular complaint is that Facebook is not showing users the news from a particular location, such as a city.
“If you want to see the news, you need to go to the news feed,” Mather said.
Some people are not happy with the new UI and have posted videos on YouTube and Instagram of the new features to show that the search is working as advertised.
Some of these videos have been viewed over 3 million times.
