By Kate Walker – 9 April 2017 BBC Sport has teamed up with the Search Engine Land blog to explore the history of search engines.
In the past, search engines were the main tool used by advertisers to target their ads to a specific audience.
But as online advertising has grown, so has the power of search engine optimization.
And the latest innovation from search engine marketers has been to create tools that make it easier to target specific audiences.
In 2017, Google became the first company to publish an online guide for marketers to help them understand how search engines work.
So in 2018, the team at Search EngineLand.com looked at the history and future of search.
What are the origins of search?
Search engines are the most popular tools used by websites to target consumers.
For example, they are used to target advertisements for online gaming services, movie tickets, and other digital products.
And they also make it possible for companies to target customers online.
Search engines have been around for over 150 years, and they’ve grown enormously over the last century.
The most famous search engine was Google, which was launched in 1995.
Search is still used to find things like restaurant ratings and weather forecasts.
But today, there are many more search engines to choose from, which includes Bing, Yahoo, Google, and others.
Why is search so important?
Today, more than 80% of searches are done online.
But the internet wasn’t invented until the 1960s.
And there were some major changes that occurred around the same time.
In 1965, the US Supreme Court decided in United States v.
Jones that people could be held criminally liable for searches they made in private.
This was the start of a new era for search.
Today, search is used by more than 100 billion people every day, and Google’s revenues are worth $80 billion.
Search algorithms are used for more than 400 million websites in the US, and search engine companies like Google and Microsoft have billions of dollars in annual revenue from the use of their search engine.
What kinds of things are search engines doing?
Search engine optimisation has been around since the late 1980s.
Today’s search engines can help people to find the content they’re looking for and to make it appear better than it actually is.
For instance, a search engine can help users find out what a product is, how long it will be in stock, or the availability of the product in different countries.
In 2018, Google launched its own search engine, which allows users to find information on just about anything, even if that information is hidden from them.
In addition, many of the most prominent search engines are owned by Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo.
These companies have billions in annual advertising revenue, and have been investing in their own search engines, including Microsoft Bing, Bing Ads, and Microsoft Search.
How do search engines change the world?
In 2017 the European Commission issued an alert warning that Google and Facebook were abusing their power to influence the way consumers think about the internet.
The alert is the result of an investigation by European Parliament and the European Parliament’s Consumer and Media Safety Committee, which investigated the ways Google and other search engines manipulate the way people interact with the internet to target advertising.
The report concluded that search engines “have the potential to affect consumers’ search behaviour in ways that are not visible to them”.
So, what can we do to protect ourselves?
Search companies and their executives often claim that there is no evidence that they are manipulating search results, or that their algorithms are influencing how consumers search.
The search engine giant Google has repeatedly said that there are no direct links between the use and performance of search algorithms and consumer behaviour.
But a review of Google’s own research shows that its algorithms can be used to influence how consumers view the search results they see.
Google says that the data it gathers about its users is used to help it tailor advertising and deliver relevant ads.
So while there are some direct links, the researchers say, this does not imply that these links are causal.
And a review by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) found that there was no evidence of any wrongdoing by Google.
Google has said it will work to improve its algorithms, but it has not been willing to admit any wrongdoing, let alone admitting that its search engine algorithm is manipulated by companies.
So what do we do if we have questions?
There are many ways to get answers to these questions.
