The best search engine for your business?
One that doesn’t depend on algorithms and does everything you want it to do, says Ben Horowitz, CEO of Search Engine Land, a company that sells search engines to big businesses.
You should be able to find the best search engines by looking at the metrics they track, Horowitz says.
And if they don’t, they’re not perfect.
Horowitz says he’s seen many search engines fail in the search space because they rely on a single, highly targeted keyword.
He says you should always focus on metrics, not on the search results.
Horowitz also suggests you look at the search traffic your business generates, which is a measure of how many searches your site gets per day, and the number of users per page.
If it’s lower than that, you probably aren’t doing as good a job at your business.
Horowitz recommends you focus on the results you get from your organic search.
If you’re looking to improve the rankings of your content on search engines, he suggests you focus more on SEO.
“Use a search engine that’s doing better than the ones you’re using to rank for you,” Horowitz says, but that doesn`t mean you should stop there.
For example, Horowitz suggests you start by finding out if your company is ranking for keywords that have been around longer than your competitors.
That way, you can tweak the algorithm to find a better match for your product.
And Horowitz suggests that you focus your efforts on adding content that has been around for at least six months, such as a blog post or video.
You also want to pay attention to your competitors and ask them what they are ranking for, to make sure they are getting the same result, he says.
“There are so many opportunities to make your business more relevant and reach people that it’s hard to know where to start,” Horowitz said.
Horowitz also suggests using search engine optimization to boost the search engine rankings for your company.
“It’s like a new car, you’ve got to get used to it, and you’ve gotta be ready for it,” he said.
“You’re going to need to be ready to learn the ropes.”
