By Matt LeBlanc / Fortune News A merger between Google and Mozilla has the potential to make the internet the dominant search engine for billions of people worldwide.
That could make Google the dominant player in search in the world, and for the foreseeable future.
The deal is the culmination of years of work by Mozilla and Google, as well as the two companies’ ambitious efforts to build a global search engine.
“Google is an incredibly powerful platform, but Google is a much more powerful platform than Mozilla is,” said Mike Moritz, Mozilla CEO.
“This gives us the opportunity to build the world’s largest search engine.”
For Google, that means using its own data and expertise to deliver faster and more accurate search results.
Mozilla, which launched in 2003 as a nonprofit search engine with the mission of improving Internet openness, is based in Seattle, Washington.
“For us it was a great opportunity to create a global platform for search, which is what we’ve done since our inception,” said Marc Lore, head of Mozilla’s Web search division.
The merger will allow Google to become the dominant global search platform, with about a third of the global search market.
The new deal comes as Google continues to roll out a series of updates aimed at making the search engine more efficient.
Google announced its search improvements last month.
Google will soon offer search results on Google Maps and in many other countries.
Google also will add a new option to the search results page that lets you search by the first name, last name, or email address.
It will also offer more efficient search by geography and by location.
Google says it has added about 50 million new results to its search results, about 60 percent of them new to the world of online search.
The news of the merger comes as search engines continue to work to improve the quality of the results they provide.
Google is also working on a new feature that it says will give users a chance to opt out of certain results, such as spam, or make the results less relevant to users.
Google has said it will continue to make its search engine better by updating it as needed.
The company also said it plans to launch an Android app soon.
Mozilla is not the only search engine company to be working on its own search engine to serve more people around the world.
Yahoo, Bing, and Yahoo Japan are working on their own search engines, too.
Google and Yahoo’s efforts are also in line with the push by technology companies such as Facebook and Amazon to become more powerful online search engines.
Google currently offers about half the global market for search and about two-thirds of the search market in the United States.
Facebook and Yahoo have been pushing hard for years to become Google’s primary global search partner.
They say their own efforts will make them more powerful as search providers.
“Our goal is to be the dominant international search engine in the next three years,” said David Drummond, Facebook’s head of global search.
Facebook recently announced that it would create a new international search platform that will be part of the Google’s existing Global Search platform.
Facebook has also recently opened up its own mobile search service, as it expands to the United Kingdom and other countries with a large population of English speakers.
Facebook also plans to release a mobile app that will allow people to search for news and sports in the U.K., France, Germany, and other nations.
Google declined to comment on the deal.
For the search giant, it’s about expanding its presence in a new part of town.
Google’s search engine has been dominant for years in many parts of the world because of the breadth of its product portfolio and the ease of access to it.
The companies are trying to find ways to better compete with other search engines that also have strong global presence.
Google was founded in 1975 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
